Interested in coding? Hatch Canada will be in the galleria at lunch on Monday 12 February to promote a 8-week lunchtime course. Visit their booth on Monday to find out more.

Youth Summer Employment

Focus on Youth Summer Employment applications for summer camp counsellors are now available online through www.tdsb.on.ca/focusonyouth. Students must apply online to be considered for an interview. The deadline is Monday 5 March 2018. There will be guidance help sessions to assist students in applying online during lunches on 21 and 22 February. Please see the posting in the guidance offers for complete requirements and more information.

Grade Reps

SAC is looking for four Grade Reps. Please apply by 15 February 2018. Forms are available on SAC’s social media.

Literacy Test

The Literacy Test is fast approaching! Get reading by coming to after school classes on Tuesdays in Portable 3 and Thursdays in Room 233.

Warm Fuzzies

Hey Garneau! Undercover Kindness is setting up a booth in the galleria from Thursdays to Monday at lunch offering free “warm fuzzies!” Write a message to somebody and we’ll hand deliver it on 14 February! Donate $1 and we’ll even add a colourful wooden rose to your message! See you in the galleria.

Rose Sales

Hey Garneau! Rose sales have started! Come to the galleria during lunch up until Valentine’s Day to buy roses. You can by one for $2 and three for $5. The roses will be delivered the morning of Valentine’s Day.

Semi-formal Tickets

Semi-formal tickets are on sale at lunch at the SAC office for $35. The dance will be at Celebrations Banquet Hall on Thursday 15 February. Last day to get tickets is next Monday!

Graduation Gowns

Students who are graduating this June: you must get in contact with Ms. O’Flynn-Wheeler regarding gowns and tickets. They will be on sale for $25 starting Monday.
