I stood on the top of the Rockefeller Centre for literally 4 hours and drew this. First I just watched the view, waited for the fireworks. I met this really cool photographer. Then I just drew. And wow, I just felt so alive.
I later found out that the view of the photograph on the ticket was facing the same side. I also realized that I stood there so long that I got each building right, so you can match it up to the photograph on the ticket.
