First floor washrooms were temporarily closed after old pipes sprung a leak.

Around 1:30PM on Tuesday 26 March, water supply to all washrooms, water fountains, and sinks was shut off. Old pipes on the first floor of the building had been rusting, and fluid pressure accumulated in the narrowing pipes. The pipes burst upon being opened causing minor flooding and the first floor washrooms to be closed. According to Mr. Sharp, a plumber was subsequently called in to fix the problem, and all washrooms, sinks, and water fountains were back in service by the end of the day.
