Premier Kathleen Wynne is inviting applications for her CEVA Club, a club for Civic Engagement Volunteering Activities. CEVA Club provides opportunities to develop skills and help better understand the role of civic engagement. If you are interested in joining this club or getting more information about it, please come down to the office after the announcements to pick up a flyer.
Semi-formal tickets are on sale at lunch at the SAC office for $35. The dance will be at Celebrations Banquet Hall on Thursday 15 February. Last day to get tickets is next Monday!
Hey Garneau! Undercover Kindness is setting up a booth in the galleria from Thursdays to Monday at lunch offering free “warm fuzzies!” Write a message to somebody and we’ll hand deliver it on 14 February! Donate $1 and we’ll even add a colourful wooden rose to your message! See you in the galleria.
International Show Auditions
Hey cougars! International Show is almost here! Which means its time to show your cultural spirit. Come in after school on 20 and 22 February to audition. Auditions will be held in the cafeteria. Make sure your group is read to go! For further questions, email email@example.com.
Report Card Pick-up
When picking up your report cards, check the bottom of Page 3 for the record of your volunteer hours served. Reminder that Grade 10s must have your hours completed by mid-August.
Students writing the Canadian Computing Competition on 14 February are reminded to show up in Room 224 at noon, and to pay Mr. Jay before then.
Interested in coding? Hatch Canada will be in the galleria at lunch on Monday 12 February to promote a 8-week lunchtime course. Visit their booth on Monday to find out more.
