Game of the Night: Warriors vs. Timberwolves

The Warriors lose an overtime heart-breaker 131-130 to the Timberwolves. An amazing sequence of plays tied the game with just 0.5 seconds remaining in the game, before a grabbing foul was called and the Timberwolves scored a free throw to take the game. In the last 5.8 seconds of the game, Kevin Durant scored a three that was waved off and didn’t counted. Then, Steph Curry scored a corner three to tie the game 130-130. Curry scored 37 points including 11 three pointers for the Warriors, and Durant added 23 points, 12 rebounds, and 7 assists.

Pacers vs. Celtics

Celtics’ star Kyrie Irving dropped 30 points to go with 5 assists in a close 114-112 victory over the Pacers. Al Horford scored 19 points and grabbed 7 rebounds for the Celtics, while Bojan Bogdanovic scored 27 points on 8 for 13 shooting, including going 4 for 7 from beyond the arc.

Trail Blazers vs. Hawks

The Blazers blew out the Hawks in a 118-98 win. Damian Lillard scored 36 points and recorded 7 assists for the Blazers, and Al-Farouq Aminu added 17 points and 11 rebounds. Standout rookie Trae Young registered 26 points, 9 rebounds, and 7 assists for the Hawks.

Nuggets vs. Thunder

The Denver Nuggets bounce back from a tough loss against the Houston Rockets with a big win over the Oklahoma City Thunder, 115-105. Jamal Murray scored a team-high 27 points, and recorded 5 rebounds and 9 assists, while Nikola Jokic added 23 points and 16 rebounds for the Nuggets. Russell Westbrook recorded 27 points, 9 rebounds, and 9 assists for the Thunder.

Wizards vs. Jazz

Donovan Mitchell scored 35 points, 5 assists, and 5 rebounds in a 128-124 win for the Jazz. Rudy Gobert 13 points and 17 rebounds and Joe Ingles scored 18 points and 10 assists, both also for the Jazz. Despite the loss, Bradley Beal scored 34 points and registered 6 assists for the Wizards.

Hornets vs. Lakers

The Lakers beat the Hornets 129-115 thanks to great performances from the many players on the team. LeBron James had 27 points and 9 assists, Kyle Kuzma dropped 20 points, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope scored 25 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists, and Rajan Rondo registered 17 assists.
